Treatment Suitability & Contraindications

Some treatments may not be suitable for all clients. Please inform us during your consultation if any of the following apply.

Injectables

Injectable treatments may not be suitable if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are taking blood‑thinning medication
• Have active skin infections, cold sores, or inflammation in the treatment area
• Have certain medical or autoimmune conditions

Skin Rejuvenation Treatments

Skin rejuvenation treatments may not be suitable if you:

• Have active skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea
• Have recently had other advanced aesthetic treatments
• Have broken, infected, or inflamed skin in the treatment area

Skinbase Microdermabrasion

Skinbase microdermabrasion may not be suitable if you:

• Have active acne, rosacea, or fragile skin
• Have open wounds or skin infections
• Have recently had chemical peels or resurfacing treatments

Skin Consultations

Skin consultations are offered to assess skin health, concerns, and suitability for treatments. No treatment will be carried out unless it is deemed safe and appropriate.

If a treatment is not suitable, it may be postponed or declined in your best interest.

Client Consent & Responsibility

Before any injectable, skin rejuvenation, or Skinbase microdermabrasion treatment, you will be required to:

• Complete a medical questionnaire
• Attend a consultation (where required)
• Sign a consent form

By signing, you confirm that you understand the treatment, potential risks, aftercare requirements, and that results may vary.

Aftercare

Aftercare advice will be provided for all injectables, skin rejuvenation treatments, and Skinbase microdermabrasion procedures. Following aftercare instructions is essential for best results.
